NIGHT MUSIC - coming in early 2009
After losing a
hostage negotiation which resulted in the death of three
people including a child, a NY cop with only his dog for
company, leaves the city to go fishing, play his saxophone
and search for a less stressful career. When he arrives at
his family’s lake house, he finds a mother
and her young daughter leasing the house next door in their
own effort to heal from tragedy. An attractive widow
with a damaged kid are the last people he needs in his life,
and he tries hard to remain aloof. The ladies, however,
knock down his barriers and warm feelings grow between him
and Kristin. The relationship encourages Kristin to request
his help in catching the man who molested her daughter. Rick
agrees only after little Ashley indirectly asks for his help
by talking with his dog where he can hear her. As their romance
grows, Kristin panics when she realizes she could easily
lose a second love, this time because of a dangerous job.
